Crisisworks 4.11 Released
4.11.0 (October 9, 2017) — 4.11.4 (October 20, 2017)
Crisisworks 4.11 brings a series of enhancements, quality improvements and performance improvements.
Key improvements
- A tighter security model has been created for limited access users — this improves the experience of delegating tasks to contractors in recovery, FPN and weed treatments.
- Significant upgrades to our infrastructure provides faster and larger auto-scaling of the environment to cater for peak needs, as well as faster experience overall
- Multiple improvements have been made to the counters
- A powerful import facility provides self-service imports for assets, contacts and some registers
- Regions have been added to allow multiple councils to share a single Crisisworks instance
Performance & reliability improvements
This release sees a significant performance increase across the board.
- Saving items is now 69% faster
- Searching the datagrid is now 56% faster
- Searching via the mobile app is now 76% faster
Also, our infrastructure now auto-scales more smoothly with load, and it handles larger peak demands. Â
Changes to MAV forms
- Recovery Case has moved the "Special Notes" form field to the bottom of the form
- Changes have been made to the workflow sidebar (status, tagging, assignment, etc) to ensure improved consistency across all registersÂ
- FPN Task now has a task duration calculation that can be overriddenÂ

- The request datagrid has been streamlined and the requestor added
- FPN counters have been improved
- Added tag counters to the log register
- Moved the user agreement to the login screen to remove the interim legal agreement step during login
- Rostering now has support for multiple shifts
- Improved audit logging to show position names, event names and priorities rather than their IDs
- Improved the layout of the security policies listing when creating new positions
- Improved the interaction flow when creating new reports
- Improved the default selection of event following a user changing their duty status
- Status colours have been tweaked to ensure red is consistently used for high priority items
- Added bulk management to the documents library
- Improved reliability when running the web application on iOS SafariÂ
Notable fixes
- Fixed issues with viewing geospatial data from imported datasets
- Fixed occasional issue searching the datagrid by map
- Fixed configuration of some registers that exposed a second audit log option
- Various fixes have been made to minor issues searching rostering availability
- Fixed difficulty selecting assets from the map on apps
- Fixed issue where viewing data on the datagrid map sometimes showed other event data, if the user was on duty to multiple events
- Fixed issue where some datagrids could not be sorted by their priority fieldÂ
- Fixed issues with creating mail merges for some FPN configurations
- Fixed issues with menus sometimes not showing configured registers
- Fixed issue for some customers with some audit data for recovery records not appearing
- Fixed issue when creating new events from event templates sometimes would return error messages when attempting to copy the template's items.
