Our beta testing and early access program extends to our mobile apps.

There are a number of ways to get early access to our apps before they reach production.

Access Types

Datalink have a number of ways to access our non-production apps.

App Center (Android and iOS)

This is a closed, invite only service.

If you are part of a new feature development group or have enterprise access to training apps, you may get access to our close access group, using a software delivery service called App Center.

Using App Center, you can access development builds (named “Develop”), and test builds (called “Master”) of our unreleased apps.

To access App Center, follow these steps:

  1. Request an invite from Datalink

  2. If accepted, we will issue an invite.

  3. Respond to the invite and follow the steps to sign up as an App Center user.

  4. For iOS devices, you will need to also obtain your device’s UDID, and email it to Datalink to have it registered with Apple.

To use App Centre, follow these steps:

  1. Sign into AppCenter.ms

  2. Apps you’ve been authorised to access will appear for download when you sign in.

  3. You can click the download button to install the app.

While in the early access group, each time we release a new app you will be notified by email, and the email will contain a link to download that version along with a summary of what’s new in that release.

Android Beta Testing

Android beta apps are distributed through the Google Play Store.

  1. Visit the Crisisworks page on your device from within the Google Play Store app

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page until you see the section titled Become a beta tester.

  3. Tap the I’M IN button, then tap JOIN.

  4. Wait 10-15 minutes for the beta sign-up process to complete, then return to the app detail page in the Google Play Store. You should see a message saying You’re a beta tester.

  5. When you download the app it will automatically be the beta app whenever one is available, or the production app otherwise.

iOS Beta Testing

iOS beta apps are distributed through Apple’s Test Flight service.

  1. Install the Test Flight app from the App Store

  2. Request an invite to be a beta tester by contacting Datalink, and provide your UDID.

  3. When approved, whenever a beta app is available you will be notified and can download it via the Test Flight app.
