Email notification: opt-out / opt-in

How to opt-in or out of email notifications

Crisisworks users can opt-in and out of the following alerts from their user profile:

  • News & Major Updates: Receive our low volume email newsletter containing news, new features and improvements

  • Software Updates & System Maintenance: Receive an email whenever we perform system maintenance and software upgrades, including minor updates where no outage is expected. This could be weekly in a busy period

  • System Outages: Receive an email alert only for planned or unplanned outages.

To change your email subscription preferences:

  1. Sign in to your Crisisworks site

  2. Expand the user menu at the top right of the screen, and click “Edit Profile

  3. At the bottom of the profile form, find “Email Subscriptions” and select or de-select the subscriptions you would like

  4. Click “Save”

If you still receive emails if you have accounts on multiple Crisisworks sites with the same email address with these option enabled, you will need to opt-out from the other Crisisworks sites as well.

To change another user’s preferences:

You need to be a user Adimisyator or Full Access administrator to do this.

  1. Sign in to your Crisisworks site

  2. Select Users from the Administration menu

  3. Find the user using the icon, and click the link to view their profile.

  4. Select “Edit Profile” button at the opt of the screen.

  5. At the bottom of the profile form, find “Email Subscriptions” and select or de-select the subscriptions you would like

  6. Click “Save”
