Assessments (for recovery)

As of December 2023 there is a new Crisisworks Recovery Assessments register. This is stage one of the register with further updates to be released in 2024.

The Assessments register is designed to help import data from external sources such as FRV; in the future, it will be used to help manage additional assessment types beyond just property impacts.

The first goal for the Assessment register is to import potentially messy Initial Impact Assessment data into a side area that can be used to verify and clean the data before selecting which records you want to transfer into Recovery Cases for Secondary Impact Assessments.

Once the data is imported, users should review each record in particular to verify that the address details are correct. They may also choose to call the affected businesses or residents to confirm the damage before deciding whether they will be doing a Secondary Impact Assessment. There are a series of statuses that you can use for each record to manage the process.

You can then copy all of the records marked as Secondary Assessment Required to create Cases where a Case does not already exist. Any contact details added to the assessment are also copied to the Case.

Any Recovery Case that has an Assessment for the same property will be shown in the Recovery Case as a linked Assessment.

The current Version 1 of the Assessment module, has an FRV importer that can be used.

WARNING:

Before importing any FRV data into the Assessment module, please contact our Support Team to verify that the FV data is correct. Over the years, there have been a number of issues with the data supplied by FRV.

ALSO NOTE: the links to images supplied in the FRV data expire within 24 hours from the time that it is exported, so you need to move quickly to import the data. You can test the images by opening the file, looking for one of the links to the images and pasting it into a web browser to see if you see the image or get an error message.
