Crisisworks 4.3.1 - 4.3.16 — October releases

Over October, a series of limited releases for Crisisworks 4.3 has begun. Only opt-in customers received these updates, with the remainder staying on the 4.1.x series software.

The following summarises the releases over this time.

  • Fixed: FPN module improvements and fixes
  • New: FPN Reports
  • New: "Export to Report" feature
  • Fixed: "loading..." indicators that sometimes stay forever
  • Improved: Improvements to 4.1 → 4.3 migration tools based on feedback
  • Improved: better integration scheduling for enterprise integrations (particularly TRIM)
  • Improved: fine-tuned the recovery "service required" forms

4.3.3

  • Fixed: mapping layers not appearing for some layers
  • Fixed: FPN task report 
  • Improved: minor wording change on Offers and Information forms to reflect industry feedback

4.3.4

  • New: Added the weeds module to CW 4.3
  • New: Recovery module now contains a unified Recovery Task register to track services
  • New: Reports for Operations, Offers, Recovery
  • New: Export to Report button for most registers
  • Fixed: Notice Portal integration and TRAILS sync issue (Translink)
  • Fixed: VPR crash when unauthorised user clicks VPR (MAV)
  • Fixed: Javascript error on dashboard for map 
  • Improved: Migration scripts for 3.9 → 4.3 now completely handles services required, damages, sensitive flag
  • Fixed: numerous small fixes

4.3.5

  • Fixed: CSS prevents access to lower button bar when a system message is displayed
  • New: Added parsing rules for Corangamite's road asset export file
  • Fixed: issues with start and end treatment time for weed register
  • New: improved error reporting and diagnostics for tracing browser-based errors

4.3.6

  • Fixed: Symbology and map layers in 3.9 → 4.3 migration
  • Improved: Weed module reports, now calculates geospatial length and area of treatment area
  • Fixed: Symbology icons now searchable again

4.3.7

  • Performance: faster going on duty

  • Fixed: announcement counter incorrectly showing inactive announcements

4.3.10 - 4.3.11

  • Performance: improvements to memory management

4.3.12

  • Fixed: FPN "Export to CSV" button
  • Improved: verified and cleaned up merge tokens in mail merge feature (used with FPN)
  • New: Reports for Infrastructure

  • Improved: Recovery Case has a 'title' field in the administrative fieldset to override the default title
  • Improved: browser tracking for diagnostics

4.3.13

  • Fixed: suppressing the display of audit activity log data from events other than the one the user has selected
  • New: Emojis are back! :thumbsup: 
  • Improved: a detailed review of notification rules prompted a range of improvements to reliability and predictability for system-generated notifications
  • Improved: Asset parsing rules for Ararat improved 

4.3.14

  • Added: cost estimate tracking for infrastructure assessments, as part of the finance module
  • Added: Reports for infrastructure 
  • Added: "Export to Reports" feature for infrastructure assessments

4.3.15

  • Removed: support for apostrophes in usernames (this release includes a migration to detect these users to warn customers)

4.3.16

  •  Improved: FPN officers no longer get ability to bypass status workflow, which improves their user experience with 99% of their work. Use a true administrator account for those 1%'ers.


This set of releases were incrementally released to a controlled group of customers throughout October, concluding on October 26 2016. This readies the platform for broad roll-out in early November.
